Hearing on New Rules and Regulations Scheduled for Tuesday, June 29, 2021

The Rules and Regulations of the Commissioner of Insurance are proposed to be amended by the following actions: 

  • Modifying Regulation Chapter 120-2-58 entitled "Certification of Private Review Agents" by Amending Regulation Chapter 1 20-2-58-.01, entitled "Purpose." 120-2-58-. 02. "Definitions." 120-2-58-.03. "Application and Renewal Filing Requirements." 120-2-58-.04. "Refusal, Suspension and Re vocation." 120-2-58-.05. "Requirements for Utilization Review." 120-2-58-.06. "Com plaint Procedure." 120-2-58-.07. "Reporting Requirements" 120-2-58-.08. "Penalties" and 120-2-58-.09. "Severability Provision"
  • By amending 120-2-3-.25. "Resident Adjusters, Public Adjusters, Workers Compensation Adjusters, Crop Hail Adjusters, and Emergency Disaster Adjusters

The primary purpose of the proposed changes to Regulation 120-2-58 and 120-2-3-.25 is to modernize modify the regulations to bring them in line with House Bill 254 and Senate Bill 30 passed by the Georgia General Assembly in 2021.
