Buildings & Fire Suppression Systems

 

The Office of Insurance and Safety Fire Commissioner reviews building plans to ensure that they meet the state's fire suppression system requirements. Further, the office licenses and permits companies and personnel which install, inspect, recharge, repair, service and/or test portable fire extinguishers or fire suppression systems.

Effective August 23, 2021, the Office of Insurance and Safety Fire Commissioner along with the Engineering Division is pleased to announce the release of the NEW OCI Citizenserve Portal. The citizens of Georgia can access OCI Professional Services online to apply for professional licenses, submit plans, request building inspection, and pay for services.
