Insurance and Safety Fire Commissioner John F. King announced today that one person was killed in a Taliaferro County fire. The accidental fire occurred at 2579 Bethany Chapel Road in Crawfordville around 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, January 12.

Insurance and Safety Fire Commissioner John F. King announced today that two individuals died in a fire at 110 Leisure Meadow Lane. State authorities responded to this fire on Friday, January 8.

Monroe County Man Killed in Fire

Insurance and Safety Fire Commissioner John F. King announced today that a 44-year-old man passed away in a fire off of Faith Court in Juliette around 10:30 p.m. on Monday, January 5. The victim was found by Monroe County investigators during an investigation on the morning of January 6.

Insurance and Safety Fire Commissioner John F. King announced today that Patricia Ann Reeves, 69, passed away in an Appling County fire. The fire occurred at 920 Blackshear Highway in the early morning hours of Monday, December 21.  

Berrien County Fire Kills Two Motor Home Residents

Insurance and Safety Fire Commissioner John F. King announced today that two Berrien County residents passed away in a fire on Sunday, December 20. The fire destroyed a motor home around 7:30 a.m. at 218 Melody Lane in Enigma before killing John Kyle Phillips, 23, and Jeane Griner, 32.

Parrott Man Dies in Accidental Camper Fire

Insurance and Safety Fire Commissioner John F. King announced today that Phillip Eckert, 53, died in a camper fire off of Highway 520 near the line between Terrell and Webster counties. The fire was reported to local authorities around 10:30 p.m. on Monday, December 14.
