Community Risk Reduction and Reporting

Numerous fire-related incidents are required by law to be reported to the Georgia Office of Commissioner of Insurance and Safety Fire, Fire Marshal’s Division. Three areas are Fire Department Incident Reporting, Burn Injury Reporting and Fire Fatality Reporting. 

If you suspect that a recent fire may have been intentionally caused, call Georgia Arson Control (GAC) at 800-282-5804 or visit the GAC website. 

Any information you provide will be kept confidential.

The Office of the State Fire Marshal conducts inspections and requires incident reporting at certain healthcare facilities.

Parents and members of the public can use this search tool to view records of reported emergency drills for schools across the state of Georgia.

Georgia Insurance and Safety Fire Commissioner John F. King's Public Education Division works closely with various organizations and agency throughout the state of Georgia providing community risk reduction education and training to communities and partners across the state.
