ATLANTA – Insurance and Safety Fire Commissioner John F. King announced today that warrants were issued for Shannon Briley, 41, of Stockbridge, for one count of Insurance Fraud and one count of Forgery in the 1st Degree. Ms. Briley is wanted in connection with a Clayton County Case.

“Ms. Briley submitted a claim to USAA Insurance for theft of a ring valued at $6799.95 and a laptop computer valued at $1099.99,” said Commissioner King. “After investigation, it was discovered that both receipts submitted in the claim were fraudulent. Actions like these drive up premiums for all Georgians, and I commend the work of our Criminal Investigations Division.”

On June 17, the warrants were issued by a Clayton County Judge.
