ATLANTA – Insurance and Safety Fire Commissioner John F. King announced today that warrants have been issued for Deamarkis Barber, 31, of Conyers, for eight counts of Insurance Fraud and eight counts of Theft by Deception. Mr. Barber is wanted in connection with a Rockdale County Case.

“The suspect created a fraudulent insurance company under the name of Dirt-Cheap Insurance,” said Commissioner King. “The suspect then had the victims of his scam pay insurance premiums through Cash App, although his company was not valid, and proceeded to use the money for his personal use.”

The warrants were issued on December 22nd by a Rockdale County Judge.
