Macon Woman Wanted for Insurance Fraud

ATLANTA – Insurance and Safety Fire Commissioner John F. King announced today that a warrant has been issued for Darlene Wiggins, 53, of Macon, for one count of Insurance Fraud. Ms. Wiggins is wanted in connection with a Bibb County case. 

“The suspect initiated a claim with Sedgwick Insurance stating she injured her ankle in a CVS,” said Commissioner King. “Upon investigation, video surveillance showed the suspect deliberately injured herself on the premise in an attempt to profit from an insurance claim.”

The warrant was issued by a Bibb County Judge on January 25th.
