ATLANTA – Insurance and Safety Fire Commissioner John F. King announced today that a warrant has been issued for John Urbach, 59, of Brookhaven, for one count of Insurance Fraud. Mr. Urbach is wanted in connection with a Dekalb County case.

“Mr. Urbach filed a claim with Progressive Insurance stating his vehicle was stolen from his residence,” said Commissioner King. “The vehicle had actually been involved in an accident a few days prior and towed by a wrecker service. Investigators determined the suspect was aware of the incident and fraudulently claimed the vehicle was stolen anyway.”

Anyone with information on this case should call the Criminal Investigations Division’s warrant line at 404-463-6363.

The warrant was issued on January 28th by a Dekalb County Judge.
