ATLANTA – Insurance and Safety Fire Commissioner John F. King announced today that Siedah Scott, 33, of Locust Grove, has been charged with insurance fraud and forgery.

In September of 2021, Ms. Scott was involved in an accident in Locust Grove, and she received a $1,200 settlement from Farmers Insurance Company. In November that same year, she submitted a $1,535 medical invoice to Farmers for chiropractic treatment related to the accident.

“Our special agents interviewed the chiropractic office where Ms. Scott claimed she received treatment, and they denied providing Ms. Scott any services at their facility,” said Commissioner King. “Upon review of the medical invoice, the office advised it was created without their permission. Illicit activities like this raise insurance costs for all Georgians, and I am proud of our special agents for closing this case.”

Warrants were taken out against Siedah Scott in Henry County for one count each of Insurance Fraud and Forgery. She is still wanted at this time.
