ATLANTA – Next Thursday, September 2nd, First Lady Marty Kemp will host Georgia Insurance and Safety Fire Commissioner John F. King and members of the State Fire Marshal’s Office for an arson K-9 badge pinning ceremony at the Governor’s Mansion.

These K-9s assist local, state, and federal authorities with accelerant detection to help identify potential arsons. With the recent acquisition of two new K-9 units, the State Fire Marshal’s Office will now be able to respond to any request for assistance anywhere in Georgia within 90 minutes.
