ATLANTA – Insurance and Safety Fire Commissioner John F. King announced today that a warrant has been issued for William Dowell Crumbley, 46, of Barnesville, for one count of Insurance Fraud. Mr. Crumbley is wanted in connection with a Dekalb County case.

“The suspect filed a fraudulent stolen vehicle claim with Geico on March 7th,” said Commissioner King. “Mr. Crumbley then provided multiple statements to Geico saying he last saw the vehicle on February 26th. Upon Investigation, agents with our Criminal Investigations Division discovered that the vehicle was destroyed in a Conyers scrap yard on February 19th.”

The warrant was issued on November 23rd by a Lamar County Judge.
