ATLANTA – Insurance and Safety Fire Commissioner John F. King announced today that Snellville residents Henrietta Miller, 46, and Oniel Miller, 49, have been charged with insurance fraud.

Beginning in May of 2017, the suspects began filing a long series of insurance claims for health treatment received by themselves and their dependents. The claims ranged from care for minor sprains all the way to major fractures and other injuries.

“In total, the suspects submitted over 100 claims for care received by themselves and their dependents between May 2017 and November 2020,” said Commissioner King. “Upon investigation, our special agents determined that 87 of the claims were fraudulent, having contained documentation for care that was never received. The suspects were awarded over $137,000 through these false claims.”

Warrants were issued against the suspects on November 15, 2023 in Gwinnett County. They remain wanted at this time.
