ATLANTA – The Office of Insurance and Safety Fire Commissioner John F. King announced today that Jayme Gilbert, a Macon County woman, has been arrested in connection with a fire that occurred in the morning hours of August 22, at 230 Spaulding Road in Montezuma. 

“Ms. Gilbert was arrested and charged by the Montezuma Police Department with Arson in the First Degree and Entering Automobile With Intent to Commit Theft or Felony,” said Commissioner King. “We are grateful to the Montezuma Police Department for making sure that justice is served in this case.”
