Elevator Advisory Board

The Elevator Advisory Board’s purpose is to advance the safety of the citizens of Georgia in all areas as it relates to the general the use of elevators, escalators, movingwalks and other elevator related equipment regulated by the Official Code of Georgia Annotated and the Georgia Rules and Regulations.

The board votes on all variance requests. The function of this board is to make recommendations to the Office of Insurance and Safety Fire Commissioner.

The agenda covers discussed business for the annual meeting. The minutes are a record of all voted on agenda items.
