ATLANTA – Insurance and Safety Fire Commissioner John F. King announced today that Shrone Hayes, 45, of Palmetto, has been charged with Insurance Fraud and Forgery in connection with a Fulton County case.

“Mr. Hayes was involved in a motor vehicle accident in February of last year,” said Commissioner King. “During the claims process, he is alleged to have provided his insurance company with a “lost wages” document that contained false information and a forged signature in order to attempt to secure additional compensation.”

Commissioner King’s Criminal Investigations Division (CID) conducted a thorough investigation into this matter, which resulted in arrest warrants issued from a Fulton County judge for one count of Insurance Fraud and one Count of Forgery in the 1st Degree.
