ATLANTA – Insurance and Safety Fire Commissioner John F. King announced today that Ryan Morrow, 18, of Newnan, was arrested on March 8th in connection with two Coweta County fires.

“At approximately 4:00 a.m. that morning, the State Fire Marshal’s Office was requested by Coweta County Fire Rescue to assist in the investigation of a mobile home fire and a separate but related travel trailer fire,” said Commissioner King. “Officers from the Coweta County Sheriff’s Office were informed of Mr. Morrow’s involvement in the fires, and he was subsequently arrested in a nearby mobile home.”

Mr. Morrow is charged with Reckless Conduct, Criminal Damage to Property, and two counts of First-Degree Arson.
