Alto Fire Ruled Arson

Insurance and Safety Fire Commissioner John F. King announced today that a Habersham County fire was intentionally set. The fire occurred at approximately 4:33 p.m. on February 18th on Gilstrap Road. The fire totally destroyed the 125-year-old, 1300-square-foot residence.

Suspect Arrested in Connection with Loganville Fire

Insurance and Safety Fire Commissioner John F. King announced today that Marino Sanchez-Nava was arrested for Arson in the 1st Degree, Criminal Damage to Property, Burglary, and Possession of Tools for the Commission of a Crime.

Virginia Man Wanted for Fraud

Insurance and Safety Fire Commissioner John F. King announced today that a warrant has been issued for Zack Bradford Jr, 39, of Hampton, Virginia, for one count of Insurance Fraud. Mr. Bradford is wanted in connection with a Dekalb County case.

Alabama Woman Wanted for Fraud

Insurance and Safety Fire Commissioner John F. King announced today that a warrant has been issued for Tessa Blakely, 40, of Fort Mitchell, Alabama, for one count of Insurance Fraud. Ms. Blakely is wanted in connection with a Gwinnett County case

Savannah Man Killed in Fire

Insurance and Safety Fire Commissioner John F. King announced today that Michael C. Watson, 64, was killed in a Chatham County fire on Monday, January 31st.

Brookhaven Man Wanted for Fraud

Insurance and Safety Fire Commissioner John F. King announced today that a warrant has been issued for John Urbach, 59, of Brookhaven, for one count of Insurance Fraud. Mr. Urbach is wanted in connection with a Dekalb County case.

Port Wentworth Woman Wanted for Fraud, Forgery

Insurance and Safety Fire Commissioner John F. King announced today that warrants have been issued for Annie Liza Pressley, 33, of Port Wentworth for one count of Insurance Fraud and one count of Forgery in the 1st Degree. Ms. Pressley is wanted in connection with a Chatham County Case.

Fairburn Man Wanted for Fraud, Forgery, and Theft

Insurance and Safety Fire Commissioner John F. King announced today that warrants have been issued for Eric Mosley, 41, of Fairburn, for eight counts of Insurance Fraud, eight counts of Forgery in the 1st Degree, and four counts of Theft by Taking. Mr. Mosley is wanted in connection with a Fulton County case.

Macon Woman Wanted for Insurance Fraud

Insurance and Safety Fire Commissioner John F. King announced today that a warrant has been issued for Darlene Wiggins, 53, of Macon, for one count of Insurance Fraud. Ms. Wiggins is wanted in connection with a Bibb County case. 

Dade County Fires Intentionally Set

Insurance and Safety Fire Commissioner John F. King announced today that two Trenton fires were intentionally set. The two fires occurred at approximately 1:15 p.m. on January 21st at a residence on Highway 11.
